We are a fivefold congregation where the priesthood of all believers is a reality. Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers work together with Intercessors and Deacons to create the enabling environment for manifestation of Kingdom Culture as a lifestyle.
Undergirding the ministry is the reality that all believers are called to die to self and become true disciples of the Lord Jesus. Practising the concept of Church as School rather than theatre, all saints embrace the Teach, Train, Equip, Activate and Release process through which they discover their gifts and callings to serve as able ministers of the Kingdom.
We have a heart for the Community, sharing the love of God through His word. We serve the homeless and those on the margins of society.

Apostle George Akalonu is the Overseer of Arise Metropolitan Assembly and founder of the Global School of Ministry, which pioneered the Teach, Train, Equip, Activate and Release process.
Pastor Grace Akalonu co-leads the ministry with Apostle George, building up chapters of International Ministers Fellowship and Global School of Ministry training centres across the nations.
About four years after the Global School of Ministry commenced operations, a fairly large pool of the remnant felt like fish out of water. At the School, they had learnt about the Fivefold, spiritual gifts and how a congregation ought to operate as a living, loving organism, not a dry religious organisation. They yearned to experience the reality of the gospel of the Kingdom and become a catalyst of transforming the world.
Matthew 24:14 – And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
The hunger and thirst for fulfilment of the vision of Jesus for His Church culminated in a consensus to congregate as the Arise Metropolitan Assembly in 2010. In this way, the ministry became a laboratory for testing the concepts expounded at the Global School of Ministry.
